Professional Fascia Stretch Therapy in Midtown Toronto to help you relieve tension, improve your performance, and keep you doing what you love!
THINK YOU'RE THE "LEAST FLEXIBLE PERSON IN THE WORLD"?
You are in the right place! Flexibility is not a prerequisite to start. In fact, for anyone feeling constantly tight, stiff, or struggling with posture, Fascia Stretch Therapy (FST) is the perfect solution.
Whether spending hours working at a desk, trying to counteract slouching, or just waking up feeling stiff, FST is designed to:
Improve posture for standing taller and moving more comfortably.
Dramatically increase flexibility and range of motion.
Relieve the feeling of tightness almost anywhere in the body.
Restore a relaxed, light, and loose feeling to everyday life.
Improve your mobility in your sport or physical activity program.
THE FST DIFFERENCE
Fascia Stretch Therapy is different from therapeutic massage and more than just simple stretching exercises. It is a unique, assisted stretching program that works best when it's pain-free.
The Setup:
Treatments are typically 60 minutes long and are performed on a comfortable treatment table. Stabilization straps hold the limbs securely in place, allowing for complete physical relaxation while providing the therapist with the best leverage to stretch the body safely and effectively.
The Result:
It feels great! Clients often leave a session feeling lighter, looser, less pain, more relaxed and with more freedom to move.
Beyond general stiffness, FST is incredibly effective at managing specific aches, pains, and recovery processes.
Everyday Aches & Pains:
Back, Neck, and Shoulder pain
Hip and Foot pain
Joint stiffness
Recovery & Specialized Support:
Pre and Post-Surgery: Preparing tissues for a procedure or safely regaining mobility afterward.
Condition Management: Gentle relief for symptoms related to Sciatica, Scoliosis, Arthritis, Osteoporosis, Parkinson’s, Fibromyalgia and more...
ELEVATE YOUR ATHLETIC PERFORMANCE

ABOUT RYAN
I am a certified Fascia Stretch Therapist and movement specialist based in Toronto, dedicated to helping clients achieve healthy movement and feel flexible and free in whatever activities they enjoy. While I have over 16 years of experience as a Personal Trainer, my practice evolved significantly in 2012 when I discovered the transformative power of FST.
After years of witnessing clients (and myself) struggle with nagging pain and restricted movement, despite consistent training, I realized that some of the standard exercise protocols were often insufficient for true recovery. This led me to specialize in the Stretch To Win method.
Today, I focus on using FST to unlock the body's potential and correct the ineffective mechanics that lead to injury. FST is safe for almost every age—over the years, I have personally worked with clients as young as 8 and up to as young as 92, helping them all move with freedom and confidence.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs)
Fascia is our body's connective tissue. It wraps around our body, under the skin, like a giant spider web. It holds together our muscles, tendons, ligaments and even organs. When areas of our fascia get restricted, it limits our ability to move. This can cause stiffness, imbalances, injuries and reduced performance.
FST is similar to massage in the way you may feel after a session, like a release of tension or more relaxed. However, the techniques are very different. Massage has more of a pushing or kneading motion on different areas of the body versus FST which gently pulls on the limbs to create more of an opening in the joints and a stretch on the fascia.
FST is a specially designed modality created by the Stretch to Win Institute. Individual practitioners may use FST as a standalone service for an entire session (like Ry The Stretch Guy) or integrate the service with other modalities. A physiotherapist may use similar techniques or modalities as FST or they may perform FST if they get certified to do so.
Ry The Stretch Guy is a certified personal trainer (CanFitPro) and a certified Fascia Stretch Therapist (Stretch to Win Institute). He is not Massage Therapist or a Physiotherapist.
FST is most effective when it is pain free. If you are in pain during a session, your body will resist the stretch as a natural, protective reaction. A relaxed body can stretch more deeply for the best result.
Every person's body is different so this varies. Most people would benefit from weekly sessions in the beginning and then reducing the frequency over time. The maintenance frequency is about one session per month. As practitioners and clients go through multiple sessions, the practitioner will make frequency recommendations based on what they are observing and the client will get a better understanding of how FST works for them.
Every person's body is different so there is a very wide spectrum on how long results last. Most people will notice some positive benefits immediately following a session and a few days afterwards. A few people may not feel that much after a single session while others can feel almost permanent relief after a single session. Most people, however, benefit from regular intervals of stretching where each session builds on the next one and results last longer and longer over time.
